Alan Sheehan stays on

By: j | July 2nd, 2008

Good news to report with the 21 year-old Alan Sheehan signing a three-year contract with Leeds. Alan, who hails from the beautiful city of Galway Ireland, joined the club mid-campaign last season on-loan from Leicester City.

A tough left-bank with a trace of a hot-streak, he is best known for punishing set-pieces and a strong work-ethic. Gary McAllister noted “one of the things that struck me was how hard he was prepared to work. He was determined to win a contract here and I was impressed by his attitude.” We can expect to see him paired with a revitalized Frazer Richardson to his right.
