“Jermaine has trained with us now for a week and, all being well, he will be in contention on Saturday.
“He is our leading goalscorer and if it hadn’t have been for the little problems he’s had with his hamstring he would probably be the leading goalscorer in this league.
“Hopefully now he can kick on from here and do what we know he does best.”
There is no word on potential lineups or further commentary as per the practice of the new manager.
