Leeds uses Reserve match to test fitness

By: j | January 6th, 2009

With the postponement of the Hereford United match, Leeds used its Reserve side match against Bradford City at Elland Road to feature a number of first team player returning from injury. While Leeds will be pleased with a 1-0 victory with eighteen year-old Chris Ovington scoring with only two minutes left. However the big news is along with the return of Bradley Johnson and the use of Ben Parker, Mansour Assoumani,Neil Kilkenny and Jonny Howson getting some solid work in, both Malcolm Christie and Paul Telfer featured. With both looking fully-fit Simon Grayson’s lineup is bolstered considerably ahead of and would expect the ex-Celtic man, Paul Telfer to be firmly in the lineup against Carlisle United this Saturday.
