Shaun Derry isn’t leaving. Yet.
By: Matthew | November 13th, 2007Dennis Wise has reportedly turned down several loan offers for midfielder Shaun Derry, saying he wants to wait for the “right offer.” Maybe there’s some hope he might stay at Leeds in the long term.
I agree that he needs to regain match fitness, and that a short-term loan is the best way to do that, but he’s an excellent and influencial midfielder of exactly the type Leeds need right now, and losing him permanently, as Dennis Wise seems to be hinting at, would be a real mistake.
