signing of Luciano Beechio close

In the continuing saga of Luciano Beechio, Gary McAllister commented that he believes a permanent deal with his Spanish club, Mérida Unión Deportiva, is imminent. This is a important deal for Leeds as it’ll firmly lock down the position but also hopefully go a long way to improving ties to clubs outside of England that were lost during the financial melt-down.
